Banana Muffins

Grace helped me make banana muffins today while Ally was at school. She made a bit of a mess but overall, I think they'll taste good :) She's happily wearing a Minnie Mouse dress while coating chocolate chips in flour. What a girl!

Warren's Birthday

Happy 32nd Birthday Warren!!!!

So, I have this prime rib in my freezer and I decide to cook a yummy meal for Warren's birthday. I kindly ask my little bro. (AKA pumpkin) for some detailed instructions on how to cook this lovely piece of meat. This is what I received in an email;

"Okay first you walk or drive to the store, whichever you prefer. If driving be sure to read vehicle manual and motor vehicle license manual. Choose your prime rib roast. Never freeze a prime rib roast as it makes this specific type of meat ...chewy. Preferably pay for the roast as well. Return home, ensuring to place your vehicle in park before getting out... "

He continues to actually tell me how to cook the meat and I think it turned out pretty good! Thanks Nathan!

Ally's First day of Kindergarten

Ally started her first day of Kindergarten on Wednesday. She will go full days (8:40am - 3:10pm). She was a little sad (as was I) when Grace and I dropped her off but when we picked her up she was bouncing she was so excited. She had a great day!

She had on a cute outfit but she didn't want to take her coat off (even her hood). It was pouring rain which explains the rain boots.

This is what Grace did while Ally was at school! She's entered the "dress up" phase :)

Grandpa's 80th Birthday

On the long weekend, we traveled down South for my Grandpa Ralph's 80th birthday. We had Chinese Food and Dairy Queen cake - perfect party food!

New House #4

The day after I took "New House #3" pictures, the windows/doors were installed and the arch was completed. The plumbing has been started as well :)
