Van Orman Family Reunion - Kananaskis

 

We were a little nervous about our annual Van Orman family reunion this year in Kananaskis.  Due to all the crazy flooding that happened, the campground didn't reopen until 4 days before we were booked.  We still had fun although the pool was closed as were some of the biking trails.  We had beautiful weather and found a different golf course to golf at.  The Kananaskis golf course was completely ruined from the flooding.

Janae was visiting from Arizona and we had a lot of fun! 

We met Nicole, Sophie and Elise at the Airdrie Splash Park.  

 

We toured the gardens at Olds College and had yummy frozen yogurt.

Big Girls

Ally has discovered reading for fun. It's great but a bit of a problem as she wants to read while eating, and instead of playing with Grace and going to sleep at night.  I thought the phase would end when she was through the series she is reading but on our last trip to the library, we discovered there are about 40 books in the series.  I just need to teach Grace to read and we could spend the entire summer on lounge chairs on the deck reading!!
