Our Thanksgiving this year was, well, untraditional. The forecast called for beautiful weather so we made a day trip out to Hunter Valley on Saturday. We took the girls on a two hour trail ride. Ally rode with Warren and our friend, Drew, took Grace. The girls were troopers! We all enjoyed the beautiful mountains and even saw a deer.

Me - the little red bike is mine.On Thanksgiving Monday we swam at the Collicut Centre in Red Deer and went for Chinese food at Sandy's. I did make pumpkin pie that we enjoyed later in the evening. I was initially very disappointed at the thought of Thanksgiving with no extended family but it turned out to be a great weekend :)
